The CH53E Super Stallion is the heaviest helicopter in the US inventory. Used by the Marines and Navy, this beast is the workhorse that makes the Marine ground effort work deep into the combat space, capable of carrying armored vehicles, material and reinforcements to the boots on the ground.

I have to say that over the course of these pieces, I’m slowly developing an affection for all of the great equipment the USMC makes use of. The weapons and vehicles are all built around delivering the most punch as quickly as possible.
